Just wanted to share real quick...
This has been a solid game changer for me in my classroom. I’m still tinkering with when to use different characters , and how much to expect from each class when it comes to reproducing each form. But having the recurring fictional characters, at the least, allows for a lot of contextualized exposure.
And, like I mentioned, it’s a good way to get conversations moving along if a class is reluctant to speak up.
