Y’all,
I really have to say, the absolute best part of the last year+ of getting out here and sharing what I’m working on has been connecting with other amazing teachers all over the world.
Sitting at the top of that list is my friend Elodie, who was gracious enough to share (and grant me permission to repost) this video of what might be the best demonstration of a Map Talk I’ve seen.
Many folks have asked me what Map Talks are, and while I‘ve done my best to explain, I have yet to do it justice quite like this video does in a few short minutes.
Check it out, and make sure you follow/connect with Elodie!
How do we connect with her?
Well I want to say "moooo" because she milked that map talk! This just solidified why Google Maps is best (than Google Earth). I never noticed the weather and time when you click on the city. She continues to compare the new country to home base, and she is repetitive. By the 3rd or 4th map talk students would be anticipating and giving answers. This is a great share. Merci!
Where to order the book?
