AfroFranco Teacher Collective is a unique professional learning community dedicated to supporting French teachers around the world! It's mission is to create a collaborative space where educators can connect, share ideas, and grow in their practice, with a focus on communicative language teaching and interculturality. We aim to reduce the isolation that French teachers often feel and provide them with the resources and support needed to thrive.​

AfroFranco is grounded in proficiency-based instruction and Acquisition-Driven Instruction, with a strong emphasis on centering historically marginalized voices. Led by Ben Tinsley, a seasoned expert in curriculum development and the application of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the world language classroom, AfroFranco is a space designed primarily for French teachers, providing invaluable support and inspiration.
